Diving events were originally included in the CAS Swimming Championship program from 1933.
The first separate Diving Championship was held in 1981 points gained from the Championship were added to the Swimming Championship
Steven Barnett was a student at Trinity Grammar who excelled at Diving and went on to represent Australia.
